“Alpine Worlds” takes viewers on a journey through various alpine disciplines, from kayak expeditions and ski and snowboard tours to climbing and paragliding experiences.
The presenting partner of the series is the long-standing outfitter Mammut, while the glove manufacturer Reusch acts as a sponsoring partner. The series is available free of charge on their YouTube channel “Weger Brothers”.
Jakob and Matthias Weger grew up in Schenna, South Tyrol, and found kayak expeditions more exciting than family hikes. Dissatisfied with the limitations of professional kayaking, they left the national teams after Matthias won three European championship titles in extreme kayaking and Jakob won the U23 World Championships in Olympic slalom. Today, they travel in the Dolomites and around the world, seeking adventure on skis, snowboards, paragliders, mountain bikes, climbing ropes and kayaks.
