"Riding Patagonia" follows the journey of Lea and Jill, two freeriders with a deep connection to both the mountains and horses. Set in the stunning wilderness of Ushuaia, Argentina, they face a unique challenge—using horses to reach untouched ski slopes in the remote Patagonian mountains.
As they travel deeper into this breathtaking landscape, camping under the stars, the adventure becomes more than just about physical challenges. It transforms into a return to their childhood dreams, where horses first taught them not only the art of riding but also lessons about themselves and life. Throughout the film, Lea and Jill explore how their childhood dreams have evolved. What began with horses has grown into a love for freeriding, yet the qualities that both horses and mountains demand—trust, courage, and presence—remain central to their lives. Horses, much like the mountains, reflect their emotional state, requiring them to be in tune with both the animals and themselves.
With a blend of stunning visuals and high-adrenaline freeriding action, "Riding Patagonia" captures the connection between humans, nature, and animals. It’s not just an adventure film, but a story about the power of dreams—childhood and adult—and how these dreams guide us toward personal transformation and deeper self-awareness. The film is for anyone seeking freedom and authenticity in the natural world.
